Jojo turned 5!!!

Joseph's Birthday was on Tuesday, September 4th. We were all really excited to celebrate this wonderful boy. I'm still so often amazed that we are blessed to have him in our family! He's so vibrant and full of personality!!

He was SO HAPPY all day on Tuesday. Right away when we got up we made sure to make it special! After Tim got home from work and the kids took a nap, we headed to the mall to build-a-bear! This was something that he has been looking forward to for a long time! For dinner Joseph wanted McDonalds...big surprise!

We had a party on Wednesday evening at our house too! I love this boy! I want him to feel loved and honored on his birthday. He's such a special gift from God!

Joseph chose a dog at build-a-bear and named him Ruluck! He put a little heart in him and was happy to help stuff him! This is what he looked like after his stuffing.

Here's some more pictures of Joseph's time at build-a-bear:

Little Sister enjoyed practicing for her turn to go to build-a-bear for her birthday!
Here's Joseph with the bear's birth certificate! Ruluck got to be dressed up as Spiderman!

After build-a-bear and McDonalds Joseph opened some presents at home before going to bed! What a fun day!

Here was the perfect present for Joseph to wear to his Superhero themed birthday party!

I don't know what it is, but he looks so tall in this picture to me...he's going to be so much taller than me when he grows up!

The next day we all did a lot of preparing for Joseph's party. Even Jared helped us out with making Thor's hammer! The kids had a fun time using the hammer to hit balloons around.

Tim and I worked together to make a Captain America cake. It's supposed to look like his shield.

We had some fun games to play at the party. Here's the group shot of the kids with their Captain America Shields. They practiced throwing their shields (frisbees) over a line.

Then they used Iron Man's Lazer (water guns) to save some animals that modok had frozen in a block of ice. When the Lazers didn't work The Hulk (Tim) came and smashed the ice on the sidewalk. Finally the animals were free again! haha!

Joseph opened some presents from his friends and few more from Tim & me.

Then we had cake and ice-cream! We're so blessed by this wonderful 5-year-old!!
