Olympic Friday
>> Sunday, August 5, 2012
On Friday I got to teach the kids at Friday School. (We have church on Friday mornings.) I used the Olympics to point the kids to the Bible!
We've all been watching the Olympics a lot and enjoying all of the different sports! The kids enjoyed pretending to be little Olympians! They loved wearing a gold medal and holding their torch!
They painted the Olympic rings and learned about how the colors represent our sin (black), Jesus' blood (red), having our sins washed away (blue), Jesus being the light and the only way to heaven (yellow), and growing in our faith (green).
The loved putting the world puzzle together! They like finding where we live on the map!
After church we shared a meal together...here are the kids enjoying their baked potatoes! yum!
