J for Juice
>> Saturday, May 12, 2012
Last week the letter of the week in preschool was J! It was especially fun for Joseph and Jonathan! They said, "It's OUR day!!" I agreed with them that the best names start with J! ;)
Part way through the morning I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the village to order some juice! I asked Diana who was in the other room, homeschooling her older daughters. She didn't sign a permission slip or anything, so maybe we shouldn't call it an official "field trip." The kids had a lot of fun!
Each of the kids got to put their coins in their pocket. They practiced saying, "mango juice," in Arabic.
They walked right up to the window. Faith had to stand on her toes to see in. They loved watching the man make fresh juice!
Here they are with their juice cups in their bags.
When we got back they enjoyed their juice while Jonathan's sister, Abby, read them a Curious George book!
