how we travel with young kids

Some people have asked me, "how do you travel so much with these little kids?" I don't know....it's just what we do! We have traveled in lots of different ways with these kids and it's all been fun!!

Here are some ways that we make it fun...

#1 We have lots of music and singing in the car! Right now the favorites include Psalty, Ceadermont Kids, Veggie Tales, and Disney Songs. 

#2 We take time for reading books. These days, Joseph loves to tell the story back to us! Faith's favorite books include pictures of herself and her favorite people. :) 

#3 I always pack a few small toys. They're usually the favorite toys that have been missing for a while. When they see the toys that they love, they're usually occupied for a long time!

#4 Nap time!!! I lay their seat back, put on "sleepy music," and tell them to go to sleep!
